Three executives of Hayatın Sesi television, which was closed down with an emergency decree in September, will appear before a court in Istanbul for the first hearing of their trial on Tuesday, May 30.

The executives, Gökhan Çetin, İsmail Gökhan Bayram and Mustafa Kara, are charged with “collectively making continual propaganda for a terrorist organization” based on five broadcasts in 2015 and 2016. They each face up to 7.5 years in prison if convicted.

The hearing will be held at Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court.
